Research: Dps Classical 1

This dps is a very simple and conventional. There is a clear headline and standfirst. This informs the reader about the main content of the article. The heading is located on the left hand side of the page in a clear white space of the page, this is very visible as the font is contrasting with the white background.

The dps has also a image located in the middle of the 2 pages, there are also 2 other images; these help the reader have more visuals of maybe the places or the performers. The large image and the image on the right are location shots which are conventional with it a classic magazine. The main image breaks conventions as it goes across the centre fold.

It consists of a large amount of writing this is located a cross the middle and bottom of the page, this again is very conventional within classical magazines.

The dps has a pull quote located in the centre of the left page this helps  to show the artists views and pulls out prominent things they have said. It also helps break up the large amounts of writing.

The language is complex and formal, it has a lot of in depth terminology being used. This also appeals to the older audience this magazine is intended for.
